Review:
The brand new 10" from Extortion entitled Loose Screws, a joint release between Resist in Australia and Deep Six here in the states. I pre-ordered this back in November and was psyched when it finally arrived last week. I had already heard it though since someone had leaked it the week before, but it was even better throwing this on the table and jamming out. Anyway, these Perth boys did an excellent job with the new record I think. They switched up their sound a little bit here and there, but that's not a bad thing at all. I really enjoy the variety Extortion bring to the table on this release. Of course, they also hit you with the typical unrelenting fast tunes that I've grown to love and continue to do so. Barney Greenway from Napalm Death also puts down some guest vocals on the track Grind to a Halt, which is excellent. Anyway, most of you have probably already heard this, but I'm tossing it up anyway because I feel like it. I only hope Extortion hit the East Coast sometime soon so I can finally hear Arson performed live and take part in circle pits galore. Enjoy. (Trouble On Your System)
