The production on this record seems a little more lo fi than Cat Party’s previous releases, with the vocals faded to a lower level than the guitars, but the band’s song writing prowess has not been turned down at all. Memorable riffs, poignant lyrics, full bass lines, and solid drumming make this a full product from Southern California’s most promising band.

Cat Party continue to make records that remind us what music is meant to do. Call it Punk, Post Punk, Indie or whatever you want but just remember that these guys are doing their own thing and while it may be dark and less "rocking" in the traditional sense of the word than most of the other music around right now it’s intense and meaningful.
