The Ax- I have the Black Sea/The Zodiac 7"

Review:

The Ax - Portland based guitar, drum two-piece. Riff heavy stoner, grunge rock with a nasty Karp side. I have the "Black Sea/The Zodiac" 7" on black vinyl (I only have a handful of blue left), it's The Ax's first release, and more garage rock oriented. Then, there is the first full-length, "Our Queen Of Dirt", on white vinyl and CD. Pretty fuckin' ragin' full length. And, their 10" e.p. "Fossils Of Our Kind" should be here any day now. 8 tracks, and by far the best The Ax has ever been, recorded by grunge "legend" Jack Endino. 200 on black, 100 (maybe 200) on lavender.  (Whoa!
