Long Beach punk rock!
Bad Parents regularly play with bands like Le Face and NASA Space Universe and they all share an art damage Garage punk aesthetic. This record is perhaps a little more intense and serious than some of Bad Parents’ peers. The vocals are very reverb heavy and the guitars are hectic, but the leads are muscular and structured. In a way they seem to be carrying on a tradition from the 80’s bands on SST who were experimental, but still Punk Rock. Bad Parents stand out as cool band doing their own thing, but still making music that is interesting to listen to and even rocking at times. "One Clean Finger" is the last song and it’s an instrumental, kind of like futuristic Surf for after the bomb drops. (Big Wheel Magazine)
