Review:
This project features 19 new recordings. Ten tracks are from the Original 1980’s classic line up and nine tracks from the current RF7 incarnation. The whole project was produced by studio wiz Earle Mankey. The original plan was to get the ‘80’s band back together for 2 or 3 bonus tracks for the project, but once in the studio it was clear there was a lot of the original chemistry still alive so it turned into a head to head challenge between Old vs. New. The current line up even decided they would like to cover one of their favorite live songs from the early 80’s. So they chose, “Old Enough to Die,” as a tribute to the old guys. This record documents that RF7 is still putting out the same power as they did back in 1979… This release is limited to 200 on black vinyl. The sleeves are screen printed and hand numbered.
